I am in the market to replace some of my aging vehicles with more "modern" ( Ha! Ha! ) vehicles, I have a '87 Toyota truck that's served me well, currently driving a gas-guzzlin' '72 Bel Air bomber with only 62,000 miles on it. Anyway, I am looking at vehicles from '95 and up, to '02 or '03, as I"m NOT gonna waste money buying brand new. What scares me is that in my area ( Washington DC Metro ), the jeeps all seem to sell for over $10,000 even when 7-8 years old, and have 150,000 miles on them. I REALLY don't wanna pay that much for a vehicle with what seems to be high mileage. So the question is, how long will a Jeep run, how much money is it going to cost to keep the A/C working and mechanicals when it's been driven so much? I'm leary of paying 5 figures for a Jeep with that many miles on it. Who's got them, how have they held up, and should I even think about paying that much for a vehicle with so many miles on it? An enquiring (frugal) mind wants to know. Jerry Casper Woodbridge, VA __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
