I just finished wrapping up negotiations with the seller of the infamous "Hurst" Ambassador. I will be sending him a cashiers check for $300 and he will ship it down here on a tiltbed. At that point I will pay the driver the remaining $300 and receive the car and title. He says I should have it by the end of next week as the driver makes twice weekly runs to Morgantown. I've asked for the VIN number of the Ambassador to have it printed on the subject line of the check. Is there anything else anyone can think of to help me cover my A$$ on this one? I hate to do these kind of deals. I can't even give the guy bad feedback if he burns me as we kinda went around ebay on this one. He has good feedback and I've went through it and seen he has sold quite a few car and has good feedback on all those transactions. I know I could get a real piece of crap. I'd like to go pick it up, but I just don't have the time to pull it off. I guess I'm just gonna have to cross my fingers and pray! On a 1965 VIN, will it actually tell anythign about the car?
