Re: 4.0 tranny question

The 2000 tranny I am referring to is the Tremec 5 speed used in 2,000 up Jeeps. Finding one in a two wheel drive Cherokee may be a bit of a task. There are good alternatives in other vehicles too, but I'm not real up on them.
The Tremec, I believe will not have a cable output and would require an electronic speedo.
Not really a big deal in a non stock situation, but if you want the stock dash a cable drive for a mechanical speedo will set you back about $400 last time I was looking around and came across one.
