What I actually meant was I read recently someone had rebuilt 12-1 boxes for sale in the $200 range that had the four bolt mounting flange. The late model Grands only have a Three bolt flange. I have one of those. Of course the three bolts that box has uses the wrong three bolts. So to bolt it to the American I would only be able to use two bolts. To pull the top cover and replace the O-ring, Isn't that a major undertaking? Doesn't preload and everything need to be reset to pull that cover? I had to go back to the American box as it is 4 1/4 turns lock to lock and this box is 3 1/2, But I really don't have a lot of time to try and fix the leak :[ >" >" >" Who has the 12-1 Ratio P/S boxes with the four bolt mounting? > >you mean what models? early zj grand wagoneers ['93-?], at >least. >________________________________________________________________________ >Andrew Hay the genius nature >internet rambler is to see what all have >seen > >adh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx and think what none >thought > > > Mark Price Morgantown, WV Vice President I.A.T.S.E. #578 1969 AMC Rambler, 4.0L EFI, T-5. 1965 Ambassador 880 Conv, 327, Auto, Ratrod want to be! 1997 Cherokee Sport, 4.0L AX15 2001 S-10 Crewcab, 4.3, Not one of G.M's better vehicles
