Re: P/S ?????

What I actually meant was I read recently someone had rebuilt 12-1 boxes for sale in the $200 range that had the four bolt mounting flange. The late model Grands only have a Three bolt flange. I have one of those. Of course the three bolts that box has uses the wrong three bolts. So to bolt it to the American I would only be able to use two bolts.
To pull the top cover and replace the O-ring, Isn't that a major undertaking? Doesn't preload and everything need to be reset to pull that cover?
I had to go back to the American box as it is 4 1/4 turns lock to lock and this box is 3 1/2, But I really don't have a lot of time to try and fix the leak :[
