excuse my ignorace guys, i haven't had a lot of chances to play under the
hood of an AMC with a V8 but how could a V8 throttle cable NOT be longer the
the I6 cable? the one on the sixes is like 18 inches and it only goes about
halfway to the carb anyway... how would a shorter cable reach the carb when
its in the center on the engine?

MIME-Version: 1.0 Gremlin/Hornet V8 cables.... Thanks for the replies
guys. I DID NOT know that 70-71 Hornet/Gremlin
throttle cables attached to the pedal different. Can
anyone say why the cable would be made that long for a
v8?? I'm sure that you long time AMC mechanics think
that i ask DUMB questions. But when you do not know,
i figure it's best to ask!! Thanks..no hard feelings
Bryan.....Joe
