Neil; If you do cut the coils notice if the seat on
the spring has a flat spot or not. If it does have
that flat spot, you will need to copy that flat angle
so that the sprinf sits correctly. More than one
person has had the experience of cutting the coils,
not seating it corrctly and then the springs bend and
twist. I would still go ahead and order shorter
springs, though....Russ
