Are alternators date coded?

I took the starter off my wagon tonight and after I did that, I started checking various parts to see what the date codes are. One of the parts I didn't see a date code on was the alternator. Anyone know if the 35 amp Motorola alternators are date coded? If so, where's it at?

For everyone's amusement (but most likely just mine), here's the codes I found:

Engine: 810J27 (October 26, 1966)
Radiator: 31 P106 (not sure how much of this is date code, the other numbers were the AMC part number)
Starter: 6 K 26
Fuel Pump: K 6

Anyone know how to turn the last three numbers into some sort of date?

Also, I think that the fan on my wagon has been changed (it has the heavy duty flex fan but no fan shroud, the parts car had a shroud but the four blade fan). I think the parts car I bought several years ago had the fan that came with my wagon originally with it. Anyone know where the date codes on both the flex fan and the regular fan are at?

Thanks,

Matt
