I attempted to send this the other day before leaving for the National meet in GA; it never went through...... For those interested, I received this the other day: Bob, Just an update, the AMX400 will be in corning NY at a Chrysler dealership for a "cruise night" on September 2nd. From there it will be at Gordys AMC show just over the state line on Rt15 in PA on Sept 3rd. It was featured on the cover of the July Muscle Cars magazine and will be going into the Chrysler museum in Detroit for 8 months starting September 27th. Would you please make this information available to those that may have interest? Thank you, Mike Geary (cover photo attached) Mike also sent a couple of pix with the above email. One is the July cover of "A Collector's Guide To Muscle Cars" with a cutie posing with it. The AMX 400 appears to have damage to the drivers side hood, grill and lower valance. The other pic may be from within the magazine and shows the 400 with George Barris, another guy and some lady who almost appears "doll like". Email me off list and I'll be glad to send them to those interested. Mike can be reached at: NYMETeddy@xxxxxxx Leaving for the GA show this afternoon. It's about a nine hour run from here in Newport News. Spent the better part of my week off repairing the May 15th damage to my truck caused by some guy who was traveling in the center lane doing about 25mph. I was in the right lane doing about 45 and was just about to pass when he decided to get into the right lane. He denied doing so and said I struck him. After the collision, he hit the accelerator, went over the curb, struck and ran over a fire hydrant, went down a slight embankment into a gravel parking lot and stopped about 100 feet away from me. I tried to convince the investigating officer that the vehicle (2003 Impala) would have been out of the left corner of my windshield for my truck to strike it in between the passenger side doors. With only liability coverage, I've had to foot the repairs myself since the other insurance company (State Farm) has denied responsibility based on their insured's statement. No witnesses, about $1000 in parts, a $150 tow bill and a $7 accident report which doesn't assign blame to either of us (no tickets given). I would like to take this guy to small claims court but am not sure if I'd only be throwing good money after bad. I just don't know how I'd prove my case based on plausible situations. Sorry for going off-topic, but I needed somewhere to vent. Respectfully, Bob Rapp NN, VA 70 Machine
