'Mornin' guys
I currently have the 232/904 setup in my gremlin. Recently i was given a 71
gremlin standard (3 on the tree?) now the 71 grem is rusted to crap, it was
stuck instide a black berry bramble here on the left coast for the last 12
years without ever being run. most of this car seems like its garbage,
except maybe some of the interior peices, they might be able to be cleaned
up, but what interests me is the bellhouseing. i seem to recall people
saying that all the manual bells were the same? and i KNOW i've heard people
talk about a T-5 being almost a bolt in. will this work? i plan to put in a
4.7L stroker, a standard trans behind it would be even better. what other
parts would i need? and what 'exactly' is the diffeence between a Furd and
an AMC T-5? obviously overall leangth, but possibly the input splines as
well? and if so is is easier to keep the tranny the same and modify the
input? i know t-5 parts are common...

MIME-Version: 1.0 Just to let you know Joe, the shaft from the Mustang, the
shaft
from the 79 AMX and the original shaft in the Javelin were all
too short to install behind the WC T-5 in my Javelin. I had to
have a shaft made. It did help to have the haft ends when I went
to the fabricator.

So I may go get that driveshaft after all.
Thanks,
