It depends on the thickness of the pistons -- mainly the skirts and how much is behind the bottom of the ring grooves. I doubt they can be ground down 0.10" though. Looks like you'll need to order custom pistons or bore the block. Is the block CAST that thick or does it have sleeves? Will be hard to tell if the block was decked after the sleeves were installed, and it likely was. For high boost a heavy cylinder wall is preferred. IIRC Navarro was running 20+ psi in the Indy engine. I think there was a limit on boost. I also seem to recall reading that he started running at high boost then the rules changed to limit boost to a lower amount before the engine was actually run in any races.
