I don't think I've ever seen a factory shop manual that
didn't specify torque settings for important bolts, and
the AMC Tam's I've got here are no exception.  There most
certainly IS a torque setting!

At the end of each section, there's a listing of torque
specs.  The Caliper Anchor Plate Mounting Bolts are torqued
to 80 ft/lbs according to page 2F-37 of the '77 TSM.
