I also need a second car, so the old one has to do regular duty, at least back and forth to work. To keep from putting to many miles on it I got a motorcycle too. Parking is always at a premium in base housing (the idiots never have seemed to figure out they need more parking -- even the latest housing has the same problem -- worse than the typical appartment complex -- though many housing developments in town have the same problems, especially older ones), and I have to move the thing! It's much easier to tow a bike across the country than a car, especially since I can throw a lot more on the same trailer. Marks point that the car was "saved" rather then going to the crusher is valid too. If nothing else when/if the little "crackerbox" Ramblers do get to be collectible there just might be a source for some body parts in that drag car. I didn't read to much on it, caught that it had a Nova or Camaro front clip but not if they built a complete frame under it. Might have "front halved" the car. At least the sheet metal and some glass is being preserved though. > A: I need a daily driver/workhorse and can't afford to own a museum piece, > so my alternative is upgrade the heck out of my rigs with as much OEM Jeep > stuff as possible (some pre-post AMC content) > > From: "Mark Price" <mprice@xxxxxxxxxx> > > The value of the car is in the eye's of the owner and the > hell with what anyone else thinks.
