It's always nice not to have to use "the additional finger signals"! I guarantee if no one remebers hand signals they'll know what those mean ;> The turn signal flasher might be way up there just behind the gauge cluster. Seems I recall some being stuck up that far. If the cluster isn't to hard to pull you might have to do just that.
