There is no trick -- you just pry them out as best you can and know you're likely to lose one or two. They are generic plastic fasteners -- any auto parts store should have something similar (check the HELP! section if there is one). The gas pedal pivot is WELDED to the floor. There should be a wire clip that loops behind the pedal and into each side of the pivot about 3/8". Just pull the ends out. It may loop under the carpet behind the pedal. Is there a secret to releasing these? There seems to be a hole in the middle that you could maybe stick something like a pin or the eraser end of a pencil in. It doesn't seem to screw, and I'm afraid of tearing it up. What's the trick to getting these out and reusing them? > > I have the gas pedal that pivots from the floor; Can't seem to find the screws that attach it. Haven't been underneath, nor have I peeled the rubber of the pedal up from the bottom to a point of no return, but I don't see anything obvious. > > Thanks for the help, > > Jim Boone > Mims, FL > > ============================================================= > Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist ============================================================= Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist
