I don't see any of the ordinary Hornet's or Gremlin's or Spirit's bringing any kind of real money no matter what the condition. A while back a very low milage little old lady Hornet 4 door was on eBay and it hardly got a look. I'll keep my low profile 74 Hornet Hatchbacks. As clean as the latest one was body wise if it was a Javelin or Javelin AMX in the same mechanical condition I probably would have had to pay 3-4,000$ for it instead of the 500$ I paid for the Hornet and still would have to have spent the same amount of money fixing it up as I spent on the Hornet. We are all tired of being looked down for driving AMC's, but with recognition comes an increase in price and a lot of us will be priced right out of the market. Fortunatey not me as I have my 2 74 Hatchbacks and my son has his 2 Javelin's. I almost bought a third hachback last fall. Completly rebuilt, only needed a rear bumper which I had a spare. He said! he had 15,000$ in it and it looked it. He was having trouble getting his asking price of 5,000$. He turned down my offer of 3,500$ cash.
