Matt, Jim B., Anyone?

Wasn't there an old service bulleting on the BW
trannies (M35 at least) which required that a shuttle
valve be drilled out slightly to prevent a slight
pressure on the reverse band, which increased fuel
consumption and wear on the transmission?

I seem to recall that was a old trick and my
transmission shop at the time (Westminster
Transmission) knew of the fix.
