Re: headers on my gremmie

Any header for a 4.0L (possible exception: Clifford) will fit in the Gremlin. You will have to have a head pipe (between header and muffler) made for the header you choose. You can also use the stock 4.0L exhaust manifold. They flow just about as good as the headers. Most of the power increase you get with a header is from the slightly larger, less restrictive exhaust system that is usually installed with it. I don't think a header alone is worth the money on a 4.0L -- 3-5 hp for $250-$300?? You'll get about the same or more witha cat-back exhaust system, and only 2-3 hp more with the header and exhaust.
