I was perusing my latest issue of Rod & Custom and found this place: http://www.rodinteriors.com/index.php They have patterns for Ramblers and later AMCs! They have great upholstery kits in "period" (but not 100% factory correct) styles and materials. Photos of cars from the 50s and a 68 Chevelle look great! They're doing enough business to run high $$$ ads in Rod & Custom, that should mean something. They also make matching door panel upholstery. Full seat kits (front and rear) are $550-$750 (w/ up charges for some material -- +$500 for full leather all around), and door panels are $90 each for 36x50 (which you trim to fit over your existing or new boards). The panels may not work well for late models, but are great for earlier cars. They have an "old school intage style" available now (view the slide show to see) that is as close to late 50s/early 60s Ramblers that I've seen in an aftermarket product -- similar to woven or ventilated vinyl. Don't know how long they'll have it, but the seat pictured in the slide show could have been stock in my old 63 Classic with the light aqua! interior! Sounds like they have some vintage material that they are using for seat inserts with new production vinyl. ============================================================= Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist
