You can just change the fluid yourself, but may have to do it 3-4 times (after running between changes) to get all the water out. A shop can power flush the trans. You usually get trans fluid in the water but no water in the fluid if there is just a small leak, so I bet you're okay. You might want to get a heavy duty trans cooler and mount it in front of the radiator, leaving the radiator cooler disconnected (and plugged to prevent water loss).
