Check the grounds in the light sockets. Could be a contact in the switch also. Are all the turn signal light bulbs working? You probably checked that since you checked the hazard lights. Something loaded the turn signal flasher, so could be a bad socket, bulb, wire, or switch. Check the wiring by using a test light. Connect the lead to the + side of the battery. With the switch off touch the contacts in the light. If the wire is grounded test light will come on, if not it's good. You'll need a long wire to check the rear lights! This is a good way to check the grounds too. You should get a strong light by touching the side of the socket. Be careful not to touch the side when checing the contacts, of course!
