brake pedal height

It's Sunday evening here, last night we went to
Spencer Iowa for their Flag Days celebration.
Probably between 200 and 400 muscle, classics,
streetrod, tuners, you name it, even a 6x6 military
truck, all out cruising the boulevard and having fun,
it was great. I talked to a fellow about his buddies
Gremlin, a 74 with 258 auto, pretty clean looked nice.
Saw a Rambler American 440 Station Wagon, real nice,
saw a Eagle all wheel drive too. My Javelin didn't make
it this year, I'm still trying to get it together.
Here's the question about pedals, I saw a 70 Charger that
had power Disc brakes and a four speed, his brake pedal
more closely matched his gas pedal in distance up from the
floor, his clutch pedal was noticeably further from the floor
than the brake pedal, this got me to wondering if my setup
should be similar. My brake pedal is the same distance from
the floor as my clutch. Before when I had the auto tranny and
power drum brakes the pedal was more similar in height with the
throttle, now its even with the clutch, should I change this? I would
have to fabricate a linkage piece that is a little shorter than the one
I'm using. Can anyone tell me what their factory manual trans'd car with
power disc brakes has for pedal heights?
Thanks,
Armand
