As long as the seats will physically fit you just drill new holes. The Concord/Eagle seats will fit fine in the American. Note that the Eagle slides on the driver's seat (right slide) is VERY short as it sits on the hump for the xfer case. So you will need a slide from a Concord for that side. I have Eagle Premier seats in my 63 Classic, even the back seat. On most newer cars (not sure about Eagle) the back seat is primarily foam with a stiff wire edge to hold the shape. I had to trim some foam and cut the wire on the rear corners to fit between the wheel wells, but that was all. Oh, I had to bend a couple small metal plates to screw to the floor so I could mount the seat bottom. When you mount the front seats just remember to use 3/8" bolts and fender washers or metal plates under the floor so the bolts don't pull through in a bad crash. Now I'm almost certain that the brackets for the front would match up directly (I measured it on my Rogue when I bought it three years ago and they appeared to be identical and know that the brackets are different for an Eagle although I suspect the seat cushions are identical), what about the rear cushion and seatback? I could swap the setup from my 88 Eagle but before I do I just wanted to see if anyone here has already gone this route. > > Oh yes, if you find some Concord owned by Grandma with a pristine interior but with a wrecked body or seized engine, please give me a shout. > > Thanks, > > Richard Truesdell > Yorba Linda, CA > > > ============================================================= > Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist > > > > > > . ============================================================= Posted by wixList Archiver -- http://www.amxfiles.com/wixlist
