Re: Fun with fuel and vacuum lines

A: Righty tighty, lefty loosey? (Just kidding!) Flare nut wrench unless you
cut the lines close to the pump and use a deep socket to take them off?

Subject: Fun with fuel and vacuum lines

I took the fuel pump off my 67 wagon yesterday and I'm having some "fun"
with the fuel line and vacuum wiper line. Both of those lines have the
flare nuts rusted to the lines at the fuel pump. I've tried several rounds
of PB Blaster with no luck, I haven't tried heat because they're attached
to the fuel pump (beside the gas issue, I don't want to damage the fuel
pump -- it needs to be rebuilt), and I'm trying not to mangle the lines
because I need to send them off to be duplicated.

Any suggestions for getting them off?

Thanks,

Matt
