RE: Wiring for 4.0 info needed BAD

Thanks for the encouragement, I think I've got someone coming up with
the wiring diagram tomorrow. I'm stressing because this is my daily
driver and I want to slam dunk this swap. 258 is coming out tomorrow
night.

You really need to get a copy of the correct year wiring diagrams for
this. You will be glad you did. It makes life much easier. You could
also buy the harness HESCO sells as it would be an easy way to go too. I
don't have the info you need for that year, but have found that wire
color changed from year to year and Wrangler to Cherokee. You need the
correct year and vehicle! Don't panic. You have time to get the info you
need. Fitting the engine and trans will take little time and I suspect
if you are diligent you will manage to find the info you need before you
need it. I had the same problem when I did mine!
Also you may want to check out the AMC Forum if you can. Under
transmissions a guy put a Tremec 3550 in his Javelin if the AX15 is as
tall as the 3550 you are in for a bad news kind of day. He cut a real
big hole in his trans tunnel to get it in! Mark Price mpriceATwestco.net
