Re: AMC on TV siting-AMC Pacer Wagon in SoCal

Are you referring to the one that starts out showing the brand new pacer and then it shows it changing over time and then it pulls into the garage and comes out all brand new again? It says something like (can't remember exact numbers and year) 762 tanks from 1976 and one tank to take you back or something like that. If that is the one I have seen it shown here several times over the past few weeks. Been meaning to mention it but kept forgetting. I think pacers are ugly but that one looked nice.

It miraculously came out of the garage with all the bodywork done and a new paint job. It had a sunroof (was that factory?) & California plates. It's pretty cool that a Pacer was used in a CURRENT commercial.
