By itself, yes, but I removed the driver's side motor mount and bracket and slid motor and trans forward enough to clear.

Not something I want to rely on later to say change a leaking
gasket!

The one time I took the cover off a 6 cylinder Pacer it was actually easier than
the in the GHSCE cars.

I've never had a problem in the 70's 01 chassis with a stock (or


close) engine, even a 232 in the 1963 classic.
