Measurements needed!!!

I need measurements for the following from a 1970 or later Mat or Ambo, 66-69 American/Jav/AMX, and a Hornet/Gremlin/concord/Spirit.

1. The distance between the upper control arm mount points. I need the distance from inside face of one mount to the inside face of the other, then the width of the mount point opening.

2. I also need the distance from the center of the ball joint to the inner mount point. Ideally this would be measured from the center of the ball joint to the center of a rod stuck through the pivots of the control arm. If that's to hard go from the center of the ball joint to the center of the inside of the pivots. I can then triangulate everything using the distance between the inside faces of the mounting points.

3. Now I can think of one other measurement -- from the center of an upper mouting point to the bottom of the rail where the crossmember mounts.

The purpose of this is to work out some suspension issues. I have the shock tower cut out of a 63 Classic and I believe the mounting points are just about the same on the Javelin. If they are (the above measurements will verify) I can use this piece as a mockup for tubular arms for the Javelin as well as big cars. I have the entire 63 suspension assembly also. One issue I'm working is replacing the American/Jav/AMX trunnion with ball joints by using a Concord steering knuckle. This will require a custom (probably tubular) upper arm. If I make such an item I'd like for it to fit as many vehicles as possible, naturally, even if a custom front spring or interchangeable upper spring mounts, or coil over shocks, are required.

Please send measurements to me via direct e-mail -- farna@xxxxxxx (Frank Swygert). No, I'm not trying to keep anything secret, just don't need to clutter the list. If I can't develop something that can be reasonably manufactured I'll give details of what I find out in AIM and to anyone who helped, and I will post on the list after printing as well. Note that this is a long term project, nothing's going to come out of it for a while AFTER I get measurements, preferably from multiple sources so I can verify.

I don't think there are any pick-n-pull yards in the Delmarva penninsula or anywhere within a couple hours drive. If anyone knows of one where I could pick up a couple parts (like a Concord upper control arm) please let me know!
