Well it was a pretty good day in the junkyard today. I went to my favorite junkyard, Peninsula Auto Wreckers, to pick up a 72 Mopar 440 and torqueflite tranny that I had reserved a couple of weeks ago. While I was there I spied a 69 Mustang shell which had just come in. I got the passenger side door and reserved the 9-in rear for pickup later in the day. When I went back to get the 9-inch this afternoon there was a 1977 Hornet AMX sitting out front which had just come off the roll-back. After looking it over I made a deal to buy it and will pick it up later in the week. Someone had already gotten the speedo cluster and both outside mirrors, but the rest of the car, in and out, is there including the aluminum targa band and bullseyes. White/black interior. 304/auto. Look for this one on Ebay in a couple of weeks after I clean it up. Not a bad day at all. I was laid off yesterday so I needed a good day in the yard to cheer me up. The 440, 9-inch, and AMX will all be sold. Regards, Joe Fulton Salinas, CA
