I think there should be a brake service shop that can reline the old brake shoes. That used to be the way people could get new brake shoes back in 40's 50's or before. Friend of mine would do car brake shoe relines and HD truck shoes for local trucking company maintenance shop to keep himself busy between brake jobs. They were all as good as the new ones. His shop let him do hia good buddies brake shoes as long as on his own time plus materials. It would tie up the car for a day or so until I got my relined shoes back, is all. They even came back with the same black paint the parts places had on their replacement shoes. This might be a way out for him. _____________________________________________________________________ Ralph Ausmann - Hillsboro, OR - > http://mysite.verizon.net/res79g4m/ <ralph.ausmann@xxxxxxxxxxx> - http://clubs.hemmings.com/classicamx ----- Original Message ----- From: <nolanatcamelot@xxxxxxx> To: <Mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, May 08, 2005 3:36 PM Subject: Brake Shoes > I have a computer-less friend who is in need of a set of brake shoes > for his 1962 Rambler Classic.
