I dunno we are the same people whom criticize home buyers that buy homes that spill over on one another and are built out of a builders parts catologue rather than a designer's architectural portfolio.Of course the loudest criticism voiced is through the wallet. Don't buy that junk. What's wrong with criticizing? I might not know the whole story when someone alone is barreling down the freeway in a Suburban at 100 mph across all lanes, or better yet slowly, deliberately pulls into the left lane on a two lane just as you pull up on them to pass on the left and then they squat like a toad forcing you to pass on the right. but hell, they have to pay at the pump don't they? Eventually they'll be sitting in their cookie cutter living room with nowhere to go. How does this affect amcers? If Ford, GM,and Mopar go belly up I would think the specialty parts business would have more parts to make as people start driving old Novas, Chevelles, Chargers, 'Stangs and the like. Could benefit us. So complain more! Steve Avery Date: Sunday, May 1, 2005 08:56 PM From: dan whitehead <freebird_58@xxxxxxxxxxx> Who are we to criticize people for the vehicles they wish to drive. Owners of AMC products should understand that better than any, plus do any of us know what kind of life these people lead? Do they pull campers? race cars or show cars? Maybe the husband of this lady with the 1.7 kids drives a hybrid. It's easy to jump to conclusions when seeing someone driving a larger vehicle and they are alone in it. But unless we know the complete story it's not up to us to criticize, isn't this part of the reason our troops are in the middle east right now. I agree that upper management salaries are exhuberant and uncalled for, just as sports figures make unrealistic wages, but all the whining in the world won't change what has come about. When someone gets into this position that is willing to drop their own wage will be when there is a possibility something may happen. But I doubt that will ever happen.
