Mine is a 99% rust free car because it spent the first 20-25 years of its life in Florida before coming to N.Y.. The body has not even had any paint touched up. It has a few normal door dings and a few very small dents. The major damage was the cooked interior and the lack of proper repairs that the previous owner of 3 years did not do. He ran it into the ground mechanically and was a so called profesional mechanic that owned his own business. His business failed, I wonder why? :-) Of course hauling his kids muddy Go Kart in the car didn't help the already cooked interior any either.
I haven't figured out who will do the seats yet. I have the stock hatchback rear seat and added a set of slim 74 Javelin buckets to the front. I have every thing to complete the interior on hand. I have to get a few quotes on the seat upholstery job. I got one already for 1,000$. I have about 2,000$ in parts and materials already in the interior. It is going to be sweet when finished. It looks like that won't be till the end of June now.
