Use Concord or Spirit electric wipers - complete from switch to motor/linkage. Should be a bolt-in. You will need to use the arms and such for the complete conversion. It's all Motorcraft stuff actually. I think the newer FSJ ( full-size Jeep Wagoneer, truck, etc.) switch is the same or similar enough. I used one from a FSJ on my '70 Jav, complete with delay. I used a '74 Jav motor and linkage. Works fine.

I actually got the XJ wiper motor wiring figured out.
I had an American electric wiper mounting plate.
I mounted the XJ motor to the American plate.
Removed the arm off the original Vacuum motor and used a dremel to rework it to fit the XJ Wiper motor. I had to bend the arm in an s type shape to move it up away from the motor and plate.
Insatlled it and it is real close to being what I want. I need to do a little fine tuning of the arm length. I'm going to try and lengthen the slot and slide it to make the arm as long as possible. I'd like to get another inch of sweep to the wiper blades. I wish I knew exactly how long to make it, but it a little tricky. The vacuum wiper motor sweeps in an arc. The electric is a full circle. Vacuum swept 3 1/2" I thought the bend in the arm and the full circle sweep would cancel each other out and make it perfect. But this is not quite true.
The only problems I forsee is I may have to do a slight rework of the mount plate to get the motor down into it slightly more as I may have a hood clearance issue the way it sits now.
I need to figure out how to wire up the Hornet wiper switch to get it finished up.
It took me a bit of head scratching to figure out how the park circuit works, but I did it!
The switch is going to be another pain to decypher. If anyone can give me pinouts or wiring color breakdown for Electric wipers on a 73 Hornet or anything close. It certainly would be helpfull.
