Hurst Jeep

Joe
I had a guy call me a few years back looking for parts that had 4-5 of
the 71 Hurst Jeeps, and knew a few other guys that had them ( I would say
10 or so) . In 1994 I hauled a 65 GTO convertible up to Iowa and was
going in to Wichita Falls Texas ( on my way to see Fred Brewer in OK
before going to Iowa) . It was late at night and I had just gotten of the
hwy and was at a light when a large RV come off the south bound hwy and
tuned on to the road I was trying to get to. He had the green and went on
threw. In tow was one of these Jeeps. I sat and sat at that light waiting
for it to turn green as the RV and Jeep disappeared in the distance. By
the time the light changed, there was no way I could catch this guy with
the GTO on a tailer. Only one I have ever seen, and I really want to get
a look at it!
