Re: Ouch T-5

Okay guys, lets play nice ;> (just a comment!!)
Seriously, it was just a suggestion Mark. I agree with you though. While a stronger tranny is definitely a great idea, it's the kind of idea that costs $$$$! That's why I ended up putting an auto (AW4) in my car instead of the five speed I really wanted. I thought about going back with a five speed, but would be to much trouble now. So the next one I build will be a five speed!

I want you to get that car on the road and drive it for at least six months. Then maybe I can talk you into getting a Chrysler 2.2L turbo and remote mounting it in place of the muffler. You'd only get 5-6 pounds of boost I think, but that should be a noticeable kick for the 4.6L! Instead of letting the air filter hang under the car you can cut a hole in the trunk floor then build a filter box there. Pipe it out the side of the trunk to pull in air from a rear wheel well. It's just a hobby car, a couple cubic feet of reduced trunk space won't hurt a thing! ;>

Sure I could run out and by the 3650 and a centrifical supercharger. Then I would need a rear axle. Oh, then a good blwproof bellhousing, wait a driveshaft loop, Oh by the way, Lets get the newest Exhaust Diffusing, Plasma unit.
