Pulling a tranny from a 62 Classic

Justin; this subject was covered a while ago and
though the removal of the tranny is accurate, what
isn't correct is saying you can't move the car. Once
the engine is supported you can hook up the rear end
by attaching the shocks and springs, then wire up the
tork tube using strapping, coat hooks, cables,
anything that will reach. I usually tie the two top
bolt holes to the engine bay somehow.
You will be able to move it out of the way and not tie
up the shop, just don't try to tow it this way. I have
moved many TT cars this way, some over a rutted gravel drive........Russ
