Yeah, but having the attendees "walk around a little more" also gets them at least glancing at other cars, and realizing their favorite wasn't the only one AMC made worth keeping. Maybe the next time they see a forlorn 74 Hornet sedan sitting somewhere they'll think it just might make a good driver to keep miles off their favorite, or a 58 Ambo sitting behind a barn/in the woods and decide it could look like the one they saw at the show with "a little" work (we all know "a little" often turns into a boat load!). It won't help the real "elitist" who thinks that the pinnacle of AMC development and design was the Javelin (or two seat AMX), but it will help the average enthusiast. The main reason for grouping cars together is to help the judges out though. I've been a judge before -- nothing like having to walk the width and breadth of a show field, much less FIND the cars, in a timely manner. It's not a big problem in a small class with a dozen cars, but the big shows...
