Re: cracked exhaust manifold on 232



There is or was actually a spray cleaner for carbon that worked well for this.
I think I read here a while back that you can get it from Chrylser dealers?
AMC had it and we went through a lot of it on Eagles. They would come in knocking and people would think the engien was blown. Spary this stuff down the carb throat at fast idle, Kill the enigine let it set for 5 minutes or so, fire it up and the noise was gone.
