TCI convertors never gave me a problem,, while it might not make any
difference because i use a 727 be sure to count splines,,, and my TCI
convertor didnt come with a ring gear but it never hurts to ask... Home
much duration at 050 does your cam have btw just curious.. ASLO STEVE B
what are your cam specs if not top secret(haha)...
Rob
I haven't ordered a converter yet for my 998 in a 74
AMX but received the fol reply from TCI:
'Our breakaway series converter should work perfectly
for you. I assume you need the Chrysler style
converter ( starter ring gear is welded on the
torque converter). The part number for this
converter is 141300. It will give you a stall speed
around 2400 rpms, yet remain very driveable. Thank
you for considering TCI.'
If I order from them do I need to tell them to remove
the ring gear? Thanks.
