Re: AMC 2.5 wasn't it used in Dodge Dakotes

Chrysler depended more heavily on Mitsubishi in the
early 90's during their restructuring to replace the
K-car. The Plymouth Laser and Eagle Talon are
essentially Mitsu Eclipses. The same 2.4L engines
were used in some Dodge Neons. Most of the Eagle line
was made of Mitsubishis. And for a while Chrysler
used the AMC 2.5L 4 and a Mitsu 2.5L V6.

Chrysler only recently reduced their holdings in
Mitsubishi and still owns 5% or so of the company.
