I have a set of original tires, still have the little fuzzies on them, (my car was stored for a long long long time) and they other then being old are about the same as the ones on the show (original polyglass). They explode into smoke any time the pedal is 3/4 down so I don't see them as being a limiting factor. Although due to age mine are probably harder then they used to be. ~John -----Original Message----- From: Robert L Digiovanni [mailto:robdsimc@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Tuesday, April 05, 2005 3:31 PM To: mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: Posted burnout video of my AMX Cool burnout! What tires do you have on the car? There was recently that muscle car "shoot-out" on the Legendary Motor car program. The AMX didn't fair so well in the burn-out competition but they had red line tires on the car. Your burnout is at least as good as any of the other cars on that program. Cool site go check it out. ~John -----Original Message----- From: Blaine Hertzog [mailto:blainehertzog@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, April 04, 2005 4:09 PM To: mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Posted burnout video of my AMX Good one! That's the one that they should have had for the TV show.
