Technically, by list rules, you should have your e-mail address in the body of the message if not in the header. I'll settle for at least a name (like Russ does) for the sake of privacy and security, though no one has "farmed" the AMC-list for e-mail addresses since verification is required to get on now. I did increase maximum message size some, but I forget what that size is right now! ---------------------------------------------- Date: Wed, 23 Mar 2005 20:23:15 -0800 From: "Retro Ralph" <retroralph@xxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: Re: Then/now To: "AMC List" <mail@xxxxxxxxxxxx> I think I'll help you whine a bit about that... I've had the same experience trying to find email posters... (digging the archives at www.amxfiles.com). Yes, I imagine chopping your articles up into smaller sections just so can get it through the listserv system we have now is a bitch. One loses context or continuity between the chapters and doesn't helps one hurry along very well. This service does seem to have become quite a bit more reliable than earlier when it decided to go on vacation every couple weeks. I better go change my email setting to "not hide" my email address. I'm getting it twice now. Once in digest mode to one email address and individual messages regular mode to another email address. Should do my bit to help appease you in this. Or maybe you work better "mad", huh? :) _____________________________________________________________________ Ralph Ausmann - Hillsboro, OR - > http://mysite.verizon.net/res79g4m/ <ralph.ausmann@xxxxxxxxxxx> - http://clubs.hemmings.com/classicamx -- Frank Swygert Publisher, "American Independent Magazine" (AIM) For all AMC enthusiasts http://farna.home.att.net/AIM.html (free download available!)
