Todd,
I recently put the Metro roof rail weatherstrips in my 73 Javelin. I forget
which vendor I bought them from.
I was not happy with the fit either, but I was able to get the door closed
and after awhile the weatherstrip accommodated the shape of the door glass
and the door became easier to close. That's all I can offer.

Subject: Javelin Roof Rail Weatherstrip
Anyone had problems with the roof rail weatherstrip from Metro for a 71-74
Javelin? The original weatherstrip had an L shaped cross-section and the
top
of the window laid in the inside corner of the L. The guys at the body shop
are telling me that the new pieces have a square cross-section. It's so
thick that they can't get the door shut all the way.
I have a query in to the vendor that I bought it from, but I was curious if
this was a known problem.
