Keith Black bites

I've been using KB pistons and have had good luck with them. But don't ask
for anything other than what THEY want you to have.
I messaged tech support to ask a couple of questions.

1-Are there any plans to offer a piston for the 360 AMC (probably one of the
most popular AMC engines).
Answer- NO plans to offer a piston for the 360 are on the production
schedule which covers approximately two years!

2- I am currently making high compression 22rToyota pistons by cutting the
tops to remove the dish. Then I deck the block to get the deck height back.
Could they just sell the Toyota piston WITHOUT the dish as a high
compression piece? All they would have to do is NOT DISH THE PISTON. They
wouldn't have to do anything special. In fact all they would have to do is
NOT perform one of the machining operations. In fact with just a small
change in the bore size this piston will fit the 2.6 Mitsubishi. So with
just a few MINOR changes they could turn one piston (they are ALREADY
making) fit SEVERAL new applications!
Answer-We don't make custom pieces. They are available off the shelf only.

SO,,,,, Don't look for ANY help with any problems from Silvolite (Keith
Black). They are NOT interested.
Rant off....
