The 68-74 AMX and Javelin front floor pans do work pretty well. I have them in my 68 American. The ribbing is a little different and the angle of the transmission tunnel is also slightly different. It was absolutely no big deal to tweak them to fit.

i've been told '68-9 javelin repro pans fit well, and only have a
wrinkle or two that aren't on original american pans.
