RE: mail Digest for 16 Mar 2005 in hour 11:00

" From: "Ian Cudmore" <yahootoo@xxxxxxxxxxx>
"
" are there AMC15 disk kits as well as the AMC20 ones?

dunno of any.

closest i've come - the first d35s have a square housing flange,
different from the amc15 but like amc20 and d44, and 'small bearing'
ford. '90-up c-clip d35 are different, but i don't know how. -maybe-
they went back to the amc15 flange. tsm and maybe ssb have kits for
the d35c, and stock zj rear disks fit [duh]...

" its too bad your 65 'stalled' hope it gets finished. but a mud flap as your
" air dam... i must be picturing this wrong because, well it looks pretty
" hidious in my mental image. what was the plan?

wide strips would be cut off the sides of the flap, then turned
sideways and attached to the lower radiator support which would
probably have to be reinforced. note this is some ways back from the
bumper and less obvious.

i wasn't much concerned with its appeearance, i was thinking of its
effectiveness - and the closer you get to the ground, the less air
that 'leaks' past the dam... the flap, being flexible, can touch the
ground. try that with fiberglass, then drive around your city...

of course, any air dam is just decoration until you get to serious
[eg. extra-legal] speed.
