Yes, there are Twin-Grip AMC 15 axles. They aren't all that common, but it was a factory option. It's different mechanically than the AMC 20 version. I've only seen a couple. Check station wagons, especially pre 65 models. The AMC 20 was used in all big cars with the 232, which was introduced in mid 64. 195.6 model big cars used the AMC 15 and the old wagons are more likely to have a Twin-Grip for towing.

If you care about handling, the amc15 axle is about 100 lbs
lighter than the amc20. That's a lot of unspring weight, in the
rear of a car with a light rear end to begin with. I don't think
there's a twin-grip amc15 (others may have facts), but they're

cheap and plentiful.
