I had to do some serious legal work today with my sister, but after all that, I visited a used book store that I haven't been into in a few years in Richmond, VA. They always seem to have an eclectic collection of old magazines, books, etc. Luckily they were open today, so I got to browse thru their old stuff. Ran across 3 Special Interest Autos magazines, here's what I found : Aug 92 - From GT to Gremlin - GREAT 2-page article and B/W pics of the AMX/GT and a regular Gremlin, by Patrick Foster June 92 - '57 VW vs. Nash MEtro Comparison, big article Oct. 87 - The Nash nobody remembers - The Woody , 4 pages, mostly B/W pics. All for $1 each. One COOL ad I found in their ad sections was a Nash-Kelvinator one-page ad for their F4-U Corsair engines. Showing a Corsair shooting down another plane, looks Japanese. also has small line-art at the bottom showing their car, a refrigerator, a Pratt and WHitney high-altitude engine, Vought-Sikorsky flying boat, and Hamilton standard propellors. Really NICE coloration, not faded, for $4. Had to have it! LOL. Other than that, I bought some Blimp books, not much else AMC I spotted there in my short 45 minute search. I'm sure there's more, though. :) - Jerry Casper __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around http://mail.yahoo.com
