Air-Gap intake to hood clearance

Ok...Can anyone tell me  if an Edelbrock air-gap with
a Holley or Edelbrock Performer carb will clear a
Gremlin hood or an 74 AMX hood? I have one for my 72
Gremlin. May also use one on our 74 AMX.Thanks,Joe
