From: farna@xxxxxxx Actually, I thought of one more change: " Subscribers who violate these policies will receive one warning. The second infraction will get you kicked off the list." It seems to draconian to say one warning then that's it. I suggest this instead: Subscribers who violate these policies will receive a warning. Failure to comply with warnings will result in a 30 day suspension from the list. Violations after a 30 day suspension will result in a minimum six month ban from the list. Access will be reinstated only after a written request is received and actions reviewed by the moderation group. Reinstatement will be decided by a majority vote of the group. ====================== I'd suggest a further tweak on this, as follows- "Subscribers who violate these policies will receive ONE warning. A SECOND infraction will result in a 30 day suspension from the list. Further violations after a 30 day suspension (and within six months of any previous infraction(s)) will result in a six month ban from the list. Access will be reinstated only after a written request is received and actions reviewed by the moderation group. Reinstatement will be decided by a simple majority vote of the moderation group. Six months of active member status with no infractions wipes all prior violations clean." This would allow for a 'clean slate' to be earned after 6 months of behavior. It would be rather mean to hit someone with a second ban if they've behaved for a year or two since the last mistake, then they goof up once, again. Just a thought. Further, if it's any help at all, I'd be glad to assist in the moderation work, as the group might see fit. Just LMK your needs. John
