Asin 4-speed auto (2WD) on eBay

I noticed the discussion on the AW-4 vs. 700R4.

There is a 1995 complete 4.0 engine and matching 4-speed auto tranny (2WD) on eBay starting today.

For the gentleman lamenting the lack of 2WD jeep trannys in Michigan, I have the same problem here in Ohio.

I have beed addressing the problem by watching the "Parts Car" eBay postings. Over the past couple years I have been able to purchase three running 1988 Comanche pickups with 4.0 and 2WD 5-speeds for about $350 each, and one 1987 Comanche with 4.0 and 2WD auto (my youngest daughter now has this truck in college) that was too nice to part out.

Purchasing a complete, running vehicle ensures that all parts are available when I do 4.0 swaps, like the one I will do this spring into a Spirit AMX.
